Double 'S'/Import Homes provide the very best cedar post and beam homes, and an engineering system that ensures the structural framework, not interior walls; support the weight of the roof. As a result, room and interior walls can be designed to almost any configuration desired.

Modular self-build kits

The use of post and beam, not only allows us the flexibility to develop the floor plan that you really want, but also helps us to incorporate soaring roof lines, cathedral ceilings with panoramic glass-prow fronted windows up to cosy second story lofts. For ease and simplicity, Double 'S'/Import Homes provide full construction drawings and we designate building components by code number.

When you are satisfied with your choice of home, we will deal with all relevant planning permission/building warrant forms. On confirmation of planning we will set a delivery date for arrival on site, where an agent will be present to assist with checking and questions. We then offer a technical support line for the duration of the build.
